The Art of becoming a Top Bridge Player

“BAMSA has recently published a book via Master Point Press: The Art of Becoming a Top Bridge Player. It is based on indepth interviews with 60 international bridge players from the USA and Europe.

It covers non-technical aspects of the game, including mistakes, emotions, self-development and preparation, partnership dynamics, winning and losing. It is available from Amazon, most bookstores or as an ebook – https://ebooksbridge.com/the-art-of-becoming-a-top-bridge-player

The book is linked to a recent BAMSA project which explored National Bridge Organisations’ (NBO) experiences of training and developing international and junior players. This project includes additional material on setting goals, team dynamics and working with NPCs/coaches.

The below reports plus summaries and case studies (including an England case study) can be found in the ‘Bridging Organisations’ project in the research area of the BAMSA website: https://bridgemindsport.org/home/research/bridging-organisations/
